After graduating from Elon University in North Carolina, Josh lived in Atlanta working for the financial company, Advantage Capital, thus beginning his career in the financial industry.
In 2004 he moved back to Cincinnati to begin working with his Father's company, Deeter & Bodnar Advisors.
Shortly after his Father passed away in 2008, Josh started the Deeter Advisory Group.
In 2008 he received his Diploma from Xavier University in Financial Planning. Josh then went on to complete the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) certificate. He also carries an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), specializing in fiduciary liability and responsibility.
The CFP® and AIF® marks further allow Josh to customize portfolios and personalize financial plans by making unbiased recommendations that truly are unique to each client. Along with working with individuals he consults on defined contribution and defined benefit plans. As part of financial planning, he works with individuals assessing risk management and college savings plans, too.
Josh sits on on the mentoring board for Cincinnati based Professional Leadership Network (PLN). PLN works directly with the Dan Beard Boy Scout Council.
Josh is driven by his faith and is deeply involved in his Church, Horizon Community Church based in Newton, OH
Josh also works closely with The Heart of the Outdoors which works with individuals to pursue their faith through a passion for the outdoors.
Another organization close to Josh's heart is The Aruna Project, which battles sex slavery in India
Josh lives in Terrace Park with his wife Betsy and three children Bo, Nellie and Emma.
